I called the call centre and spoke to Cheryl. I explained to her that I needed to cancel my sons contract as he is now out of the country for 2 years. When we signed the contract I indicated to the person who signed us up that my son was going away in April 09. He said that we could do an early termination of the contract and that we would have to pay 50% of the balance of the contract. Today when I phoned, Cheryl says that they need a months notice and that it will only be effective from the 1 Aug. I have never heard of a months notice that needs to be in the month before. Surely if I give a months notice on the 1st of the month it is effective?????? Could someone explain this to me.
